Archiving Policy

JUPIN (Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Nusantara), published by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Universitas Nurul Huda, is committed to the long-term preservation of and permanent access to all content it publishes.

1. Digital Preservation

JUPIN uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to deposit published issues in a secure, distributed digital archive. This ensures that articles remain available even if the journal ceases publication.

2. LOCKSS

The journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries. Those libraries may create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

3. Institutional Server

All published articles and their metadata are stored on the journal server of Universitas Nurul Huda, which is backed up regularly.

4. Indexing Services

Article metadata and full texts are also accessible through the indexing services in which JUPIN is listed. See the Indexing page for the current list.

5. Self-Archiving by Authors

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms, provided that the original publication in JUPIN is properly cited.

6. Permanence of the Scholarly Record

Published articles are not removed from the journal. Any corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions are issued as separate notices linked to the original article, in accordance with Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
