Archiving Policy

ARCHIVING POLICY

FingeR: Journal of Elementary School is committed to the permanent availability and long-term preservation of all published content. The following arrangements ensure that articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases publication or the journal website becomes unavailable.

1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
FingeR uses the PKP Preservation Network, a LOCKSS-based digital preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project. Each published issue, including metadata and full-text files, is automatically deposited and stored in multiple geographically distributed archival nodes to ensure long-term, continuous open access.

2. Additional Archiving and Indexing Services

  • Crossref: Every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) as a persistent link.
  • Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) & Indonesia OneSearch: National services that harvest and index journal metadata with direct links to full-text articles.
3. Self-Archiving by Authors
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit any version of their manuscript (submitted version, accepted manuscript, or published PDF) into institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites at any time, provided that full attribution and the DOI link to the original publication in FingeR are included.

4. Integrity of the Published Record
Once published, articles become part of the permanent scholarly record. Any correction, retraction, or expression of concern will be handled in accordance with the journal's Correction and Retraction Policy, while the original version of the article will remain archived.
